Meadowlands Picaresque is a site-specific installation that is inspired by the Meadowlands swamps in Northern New Jersey. The site-specific environment was constructed out of materials sourced from this swamp and then combined with objects from Zanisnik's parents' home in New Jersey, sculptures fabricated in the studio, domestic wares purchased from junk shops and street detritus found throughout Brooklyn.
