For two hours Zanisnik hung suspended from the ceiling, with several hundred helium balloons attached to his body. Hanging in front of the artist was a griddle, pancake batter, and a series of pancake molds in the shapes of U.S. States. For the two hours Zanisnik cooked U.S. state shaped pancakes and flipped them to the audience as he hung otherwise motionless.
